On Sep 28, 2008 we finally paid a visit to Restaurante Skinão in Águas da Prata.
Skinão means Big Corner. This restaurant is conveniently located on the corner across the street from the Praça Basílio Ceschin.
The food is traditional Brasilian and is very delicious. This restaurant is open all day until midnight and it is very popular. It has take-out service plus they deliver, on foot, locally. I have often seen Carlinho walking along the street with someone's lunch.
The restaurant has outdoor seating for 12 under the shade of large trees.
We were there for Sunday Lunch with our friend Diana Pereira and her mother.
Here is the view of the fountain in the Praça Basílio Ceschin across the street.
The view from inside the restaurant.
Our hostesses for lunch were Diana Pereira and her mother.
Diana places our order with Carlinho.
The food was traditional Brasilian, Rice, Beans, Chicken, Pasta, Salad and Farofa (Flour).
There is indoor seating for about 50.
There is a long bar with seating for about 12. Diana is having a smoke break!
Half of the bar is next to the windows.
The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. This is a great place to dine and drink anytime of the day.
